That Past Won't Repeat Itself This Time

Though I have a microphone, I have no jack for it on my computer, so this one was done with the small dot on the side of my laptop. Así es la vida.
Also, I just learned to play the guitar about two months ago, and I wrote the chorus a little too difficult for myself. But, here's a first draft.

I tried to increase the master volume. Not sure if it worked.

Here are the lyrics, per your request

I can't be what she was to you
But I'm so glad I'm not her to you now.
I can't do what she did for you
but now thoughts of her just make you furrow your brow.

Time and time again
You say you will let her back in
Wouldn't it be sublime?
But that past won't repeat itself this time

I can't stand to see you this way
not when I know that you deserve so much more
I can't watch you waste away
Fold up your life, and shut it away in a drawer

I may not be worth living for
but at least you are, and that's good enough for me
On the phone, she says you're such a bore
Well, forget that girl and let yourself go free

Time and time again
You say you will let her back in
Wouldn't it be sublime?
But that past won't repeat itself this time

Growing up, such pain you endure
and losing lovers, is hardest to bare
It'll never be like it was with her
but better times are gonna come I swear

Time and time again
You say you will let her back in
Wouldn't it be sublime?
But that past won't repeat itself this time

I'd walk through fire for you
For you babe, there's nothing I would fear
That girl, she ant good enough for you
but there's a girl who loves you now right here

Time and time again
You would love to let her back in
But she's not comin' home
But that don't mean that you're all alone

But she's not comin' home
But that don't mean that you're all alone

Embedding this took a while to figure out, but I just used a google gadget. Here's the file, just in case.

And yes, that is how you spell pARTy.

Three day weekends are never very exciting in Santa Cruz, because everyone takes advantage of the time to get out of town. With no one around, I holed up in my apartment for Saturday, playing and listening to music, and a bit of coloring. I can't draw, and I'm no artist, but here it is.
I don't think it's done, but when are they ever?
